Bumps and Births Hypnobirthing is based in Norwich, Norfolk. Ran by Award Winning Teacher, Sophie. The 5 star rated 1-2-1 and Group Courses will provide you and your birth partner with everything you need to prepare you for the birth of your little one.

A little bit about me…

I’m Sophie, 30 year old, born and bred from Norwich. I’m a busy Mum of 2 boys, Elliott 5 and Jasper 2. With no Birth Prep up my sleeve in my 1st pregnancy, I experienced a traumatic and dissapointing birth, I felt so out of control and incredibly vulnerable. I had no clue what to expect in labour, had no idea about my options and choices and as a result, I felt like I had failed. Those feelings stuck with me for a long time.

So when I became pregnant in 2021 with my 2nd, I knew I couldn’t go through the same experience as before. I knew I needed to do something to make my experience special and empowering.

This is when I found Hypnobirthing. It changed absolutely everything. From initially thinking it was a bit ‘hippy’ and a bit ‘out there’ to completing the course feeling so confident, knowledgable and excited to go through the birth experience again, but in a completely different yet positive way.

I had the most rewarding and powerful birth with Jasper. I have never been so proud of myself and it was the best feeling in the world. These feelings continued into my postpartum months and really helped with my mental health as a second time Mum.

Fast forward into 2023, I had the opportunity to train as a Hypnobirthing Teacher with the incredible Love Your Birth Training School. I qualified in October 23’ and it has been the most amazing journey, supporting couples in such a special time in their lives.
